Any individual or proprietor, partner of company can avail own Credit Rating information whenever he/she likes.
IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO KNOW WHAT VARIOUS BANKS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT YOU.
How to get own Credit Rating Information Report Copy ?
Please visit this website- http://www.cibil.com/accesscredit.htm and download the cibil Credit Information request form, get its print out fill it and send it to Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited,
P.O.BOX 17, Millennium Business Park, Navi Mumbai- 400 710
Phone - 022-61404300 along with --
(1) Valid Identity Proof: PAN Card/ Passport/ Voters ID (Mail self attested hard copy of any one of these Identity Proof and
(2) Valid Address Proof like Latest Bank Account Statement/ Electricity Bill/ Telephone bill (Mail self attested hard copy of any one of these Address Proofs) and
(3) Payment : Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 142/- (inclusive of all taxes and express delivery charge), in favour of “ Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited ” payable at Mumbai and
(4) self addressed big postal cover with Rs. 20/- stamps prefixed on it. I have mentioned round about figure of postal stamp, bcoz it is not specified.
(B) As we understand due to the Core Banking system converted in all major banks in cities, there will be no need to send DD but even the simple cheque can be sent and should mention in application that now the cheques have been “ Payable at Par ” in all cities - as good as DD.
