My query is wrt home loan EMI payment ratio and tax rebate

I am opting for a home loan of Rs 35 lakh. Me and my wife are co-applicants. i want to know---
--MAXIMUM tax rebate which can be claimed for principal part and interest part.
--most suitable EMI payment ratio which benefits both me and my wife for availing maximum tax rabate. i mean any ratio other than 50:50 which is better for claiming rabate. (mine and my wife monthly salary and annual package are in ratio of 55:45 % resp)
----any other important thing that must be taken care wrt home loan
