HOW CAN I CHECK MY CIBIL STATUS
In Credit Cards  -  Asked by GAURAV SHARMA -  2 years ago

Best Answer:
You can check your Credit Information Report (CIR) directly on cibil website: http://www.cibil.com/accesscredit.htm. In case you have any queries you can drop an email at consumerqueries@cibil.com. If you want a copy of your CIR you have to pay fees of Rs 142/- through DD along with other documents mentioned on the website.

Answer 1.
Unless you don't repay all your payments your name will be included in defaulter list if it is there. After clearing all your dues get NOC from bank as banks take time to update their records and inform cibil.

Answer 2.
The banks also have credit reports of their customers. You can check with your bank and even ask for the copy of your report. In case bank refuses to give the copy you can put complaint on bank website, within 15 days if you don't receive reply from bank side then you can file complaint with banking ombudsman along with copy of complaint as proof.
