What is the procedure to surrender a car bought on instalment system financed by a pvt.finanance co?

The car has been purchased one year back. Out of 12 instalments, 2 instalments are due as of date. I want to surrender the car as I could not pay the EMI. Is there any amount can I get back which was initially invested i.e., initial payment + instalments amounts.
